Volunteers will help complete a mini-kiosk at the trailhead, close down social trails, blaze the main trail, and add a boardwalk over a seasonally wet area. These improvements will allow preserve users to navigate the southern portion of the preserve with ease and minimize the impact this additional entrance has on the area’s hydrology. This event is open to trail work beginners and experts alike and is a great opportunity to learn a range of helpful trail work skills. If you use this entrance, please consider joining us!

Please bring work gloves and water, and wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. This event will take place rain or shine, so bring appropriate clothing for the weather. Due to limited parking at this entrance, we will park at the main Fuller Forest Preserve parking lot and shuttle to this entrance.
