Brought to you by performers Eleonora Congiu on the harp and tenor, Shawn Mlynek, this will be a truely international experience.Eleonora has played as part of the Beligum National Orchestra and Theatre de la Monnaie while Shawn has performed in Carnegie Hall, Slovak National Theatre and Staatstheatre Wiesbaden.They will be presenting music ranging from Renaissance composers, Dowland and Monteverdi, to Beethoven and pop music of the 50s and 60s.The performance will take place by the light of 150 candles and seating is within historic box pews dating back to the 1700s.Doors: 1900Performance starts: 1930Holy Trinity Goodramgate is a 800 year old building. Light levels are low and floors uneven throughout. The interior temperature is always colder than that outside so please dress warmly. Seating is allocated on arrival, sightlines are limited and you may be required to share a box pew with others who are not in your party. Come prepared to immerse yourself in the atmosphere and sound. Access: There are three steps up to access the toilet or flat access via an external route which may need to be unlocked. We would recommend using facilities elsewhere before or after the performance as far as possible. Holy Trinity Goodramgate is wheelchair accessible except for the Sunken Chapel and St James' Chapel (you will not require access to either of these areas to enjoy this event), however, there are only a limited number of spaces available for wheelchair users.
