December First Friday in Royal Square

Come celebrate the final First Friday of 2025 with us and see how we Light It Up in the Royal Square District! We have so many fun things planned for you (see below), so come out and join us!

- HIVE artspace - Join us from 5-9 Visit us on First Friday for a gallery full of unique, artist-made & hand-crafted gifts and affordable art during the opening of Hive's Holiday Bzzzaar! Angel will be in her holiday finest, Wendy will have her studio open on the second floor, and there may even be treats!
- IN BETWEEN PAGES (The York Emporium) - Open until 8pm. "Buy One Get One at 50% Off" on all books!
- TIGER RABBIT STUDIO (formerly Josh Johnson Creative Studio) - Open 6-9. Stop in to see the new location at 57 E King St (right next door to the old spot). Open 6-9 with assorted art, copies of Room With a Boo available, and a press on hand for print-making demos.
- KING'S COURTYARD - Open 5-9pm. Come in from the cold as we feature free Hot Apple Cider and Chocolate Star Cookies! See some "Holiday Science Magic" by Harry Hawbecker and be filled with a sense of wonder! Enjoy live Seasonal Music by Ian Carroll, 5-8pm, as you find that truly one-of-a-kind gift among the unique works by our 22 artist members!
- NOEL'S ROCK SHOP - Open 6-8pm. We've loaded up on effects pedals in time for the holidays. Stay on budget but make a big impact to a loved one's rig, maybe even your rig, with a hot new pedal from Noel's.
- ROAMING ROAST - Open 9am-9pm. Drink specials and NEW Sugar Anarchy cookies!
- VENTURE - Open 5-9pm. Even more handmade ornaments and small items joining the “Wonder & Whimsy” show! Free gift wrapping!
- VIBRISSAE PET GROOMING BOUTIQUE - 9am-4pm - $10 nail trims every First Friday!
- ALLEYS CHRISTMAS BAR - 5pm-12am. Happy Hour from 5-7. The bar is officially dressed up for the Holidays, perfect for photo ops! Late night DJ on Fridays.
- GRANFALLOONS TAVERN - First Friday Afterparty starts at 9pm with the audio-visual freak-out stylings of Aortic Valve! $5
- RSD MURAL PARK - 30+ larger than life murals all within a 1-block area! Download the free VisionSolutions AR app on your phone for an enhanced augmented-reality experience!
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- LEVANT MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE - 11am-8pm. So delicious! Try the Mediterranean Platter for a taste of several items, and don't miss the baklava for dessert!
- COLLUSION TAP WORKS - Open noon-10pm. Great bar food + 24 beers on tap.
- GRANFALLOONS TAVERN - Open 12-10pm+. Friday Night Special - Half-Price Backside of the Food Menu! American bar fare, wings, burgers, steak.
- WORLD GRILLS - Open 11am-8pm. Asian-fusion. Vegetarian / vegan options available.
- THE YORKTOWNE HOTEL - Continental cuisine with a twist from 5-10pm. The Rooftop Lounge is open 4-11, so come on out to the district for the main event from 5-9, then end the night enjoying some stellar views and a nightcap!
WHERE: The Royal Square District is located in downtown York, PA, in the area surrounded by King, Queen, Duke, and Princess streets. Get to the intersection of King & Duke & you are there.

Free parking is available on weekdays after 5:00pm and all day on weekends at the following locations:

- Corner lot of E. Newton Ave and S. Duke Street
- E. King Street and S. Queen Street Lot (directly across from The Bond)
- Collusion Tap Works Customers: Corner lot of S. Howard Street and E. Newton Avenue (directly behind the Bond)
- King Street Parking Garage & Market Street Parking Garage (each just 1 block away)
