York Cantores invite you to Come and Sing Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle

The day will be led by York Cantores’ musical director Joel Starkie.
Tickets 
Tickets are £20 (£10 for students/children) plus fees applied by Humanitix. 
After booking your place please email cantores.york@gmail.com to let us know which voice you will sing to help us with planning.
There will be an informal performance at 4pm – this is free to attend but places must be booked in advance by emailing cantores.york@gmail.com stating how many places you would like to book.
Singers of all ages and abilities, who can read music, are welcome.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, who must remain present to act as chaperone at all times.
We will be using the Ricordi edition. Copies will be available to hire on the day for £1

Timetable
10:00 Registration
10:30-11:40 Warm up and first session
11:40-12:00 Coffee break
12:00-1:30pm Second session
1:30pm -2:15pm Lunch
2:15pm- 3:45pm Third session
3:45pm -4:00pm Short Break for loo and water
4pm-5pm Concert

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. We recommend bringing a packed lunch, there is also a Co-op two minutes walk from the church.

Venue & Facilities
The workshop and performance will be held in the Church.
There is heating in the Church. There is no dress code; be comfortable.
There are toilet facilities in the church.

Travel & Parking
There is free parking on Knavesmire Rd, a few minutes walk from the church.
A number of local buses stop in Southbank: 11, 21, 24, 25, 26.
