# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Christmas Wreath Making for teenagers!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 05 Dec, 2025 at 06:30 pm – Fri, 05 Dec, 2025 at 08:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Come along and craft a winter wreath with us on the evening of Friday 5th of December 6.30-8pm. The session is open to ages 10-18 and we will be indoors at the cafe in the park (after closing!)

It's a great chance to have fun and create in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Teens can come with friends or bring a parent/carer along to craft.

The Make Space York project is about creating welcoming parks for older girls. This workshop is about connecting with nature and getting creative. All teens are welcome to this session.

There will be wreath frames made from willow for you to use and lots of natural decorations collected from York’s parks and open spaces for you to add – really make your door stand out this Christmas! It's all about connecting with nature as all items for the wreath are foraged from the park

This is a not a led workshop, it's more informal so there is a chance to chat and experiment. All instructions given and help is on hand! We will also have some nibbles.
