We are proud to announce, in collaboration with Beard Mobb England to help make the event bigger and better, the 4th Captain Mustache Beard & Moustache Competition!!

On Saturday 20th June 2026, Captain Mustache will have the privilege of assembling and exhibiting some of the best Beards & Moustaches, from around the UK and internationally.
After an enthusiastic turn out last year we're hoping to go even bigger than before!
The theme we have chosen this time is Hero & Villians, York has a vast history of Hero's & Villians that have made massive headlines through out the ages, but why stop there, there are so many fictional and nonfictional heroes and villains, the possibilities are endless. If dressing up is your thing we look forward to seeing your imagination run wild… and those facial features beautifully displayed!
There will be 11 Beard & Mustache competition categories for you to enter - in a range of various sizes & styles - from the refined to the flamboyant - we can't wait to see your faces! Along with ladies and kids creative beards meaning we have something for all the family to enjoy!
The event will be held at the fully accessible community venue, The Crescent, York.
Commissions:
Entry fee per category - £14.50
Under 16s competing - £7
Spectator tickets - £7
Free for spectators under 16yrs
