On Saturday, September 20, 2025, we'll gather to honor the generations of hand spinners who came before us and celebrate the future of the craft. Whether you're an experienced spinner, a curious beginner, or a long-time lover of fiber arts, this day is for you.
Come be a part of our lively open house, where you can:
Bring your wheel or spindle and spin alongside fellow fiber enthusiasts.
*In the afternoon see a practice run for Sheep to Shawl teams that will be competing in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Sheep to Shawl competition this coming January.
*Watch engaging demonstrations by our skilled staff and local artisans, who will share their knowledge on everything from fiber prep to unique tools.
*Maker Stations where guests of all ages can make their own custom blended fiber creations, sun tea dyeing exploration and more!
*Used Fiber tools and Spinning wheels will be on hand, first come first serve.
New Products for spinners and felters.
This is a casual, celebratory day designed to bring our community together and keep the tradition of spinning alive. We can't wait for you to be a part of it!
