Laughs for Good is a comedy fundraiser benefiting Doctors Without Borders & The Egyptian Red Crescent delivering relief to Gaza. Each in-person ticket includes delicious Palestinian food, beer & wine, & stand up comedy from 5 prominent comedians. Zoom tickets are available as well.
Adam Mamawala: Adam Mamawala is a stand-up comedian, actor and podcaster based out of New York City. Maysoon is an author of a children's graphic novel, Shiny Misfits!
Atheer Yacoub: NYC-based comic/podcaster featured on Comedy Central Arabia, Gotham Comedy Live, SF Sketchfest, Boston Comedy Festival and many more. Yacoub wrote for The Breakdown and Passport Control on Brooklyn’s Emmy award-winning network BRIC TV. Atheer recently released her first comedy album Denied Entry with Comedy Records. The album features material written and honed by the New York comedian over 10 years while frequently headlining sold-out shows all over North America.
Cansu Karabiyik: UK turned NYC comic, she was a regular on the London circuit and performed in more than 15 cities across the UK. She is the founder of the non-profit Laugh 4 Change, an organization that produced more than 50 shows in 10 different cities across the UK to raise relief aid for refugees in Greece. Cansu will be our MC!
Michael Schirtzer: CA-based Comedian/Podcaster @thepalestinianpod/Slam Poet. Michael hosted a monthly comedy show called Standup @ The Malibu Playhouse. He's worked with Don't Tell Comedy and is the show runner for a monthly show at the historic Hollywood venue, Rita House on 3rd.
