The Storytellers at Calico Ghost Town's "Easter Celebration"

We return to Calico Ghost Town in Yermo, CA for their "Easter Celebration! We will be performing two sets of bluegrass music each day on the Main Street Stage.

Hop over to Calico Ghost Town, Sunday, April 5th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for their family-friendly Easter celebration with egg hunts, photo ops with the Easter bunny, live music, games (including our famous egg toss), gunfighter performances, arts & crafts, food, shopping and more.

Calico Ghost Town is an old West mining town in the Mojave Desert that has been around since 1881 and was abandoned in the mid-1890s after silver lost its value. The town that once gave miners a good living lost its hustle and became a “ghost town.”

Along with its history and attractions, Calico Ghost Town has shops, restaurants and offers camping, hiking and off-roading.

The Storytellers have emerged as a standout progressive bluegrass band in the Southern California roots music scene. Drawing from the rich traditions of bluegrass, country blues, old-time, and folk music, they create a captivating blend of inspired improvisations and intricate vocal harmonies.

Their performances showcase soulful harmony singing, delicate acoustic arrangements, energetic grooves, and meaningful storytelling—all infused with their unique bluegrass magic. The band has performed at numerous prestigious festivals including the Huck Finn Jubilee, Calico Bluegrass Festival, Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, and June Lake Jam Fest, along with appearances at major county fairs throughout Southern California.

Career highlights include a year-long residency at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, becoming the first bluegrass band to perform on NAMM's premier stage in 2023, and in 2024, performing at Brookdale Bluegrass Festival with bluegrass legend Peter Rowan and headlining the prestigious Prescott Bluegrass Festival.
