ՀՀ ԳԱԱ «Գեղարդ» գիտավերլուծական հիմնադրամը և Թբիլիսիի պետական համալսարանը հայտարարում են «Armeno-Georgica» միջազգային կոնգրեսի մեկնարկի մասին։ Կոնգրեսը նվիրվում է հայ-վրացական պատմական և մշակութային փոխազդեցությունների համապարփակ ուսումնասիրությանը՝ հնագույն ժամանակներից մինչև նոր շրջան (XIX դարի սկիզբ)։ Այն անցկացվելու է Երևանում և Թբիլիսիում՝ երկու տարին մեկ հերթափոխով։

Կոնգրեսը անցկացվելու է կովկասագիտության դասական դպրոցի ավանդույթների ոգով՝ միաժամանակ ներառելով արդի գիտության մեթոդաբանական նորույթների լայն շրջանակ։ Ծրագրի առանցքում դրված է համեմատական պատմագիտության, պատմական մարդաբանության, աղբյուրագիտության, պատմագրության, հիշողության ուսումնասիրությունների և թվային հումանիտար գիտությունների համադրված կիրառումը, ինչը հնարավորություն կտա համադրել գիտական քննարկումների բազմակողմանիությունն ու նորարարական գիտական մոտեցումները։

Կոնգրեսը բաղկացած է ակադեմիական հիմնական գիտաժողովից և ներառելու է արդի շրջանի թեմաներին նվիրված աշխատաժողովներ և կլոր սեղաններ, որոնց օրակարգը նվիրված է լինելու հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունների լավարկման գաղափարների և հարցերի քննարկմանը, համագործակցության և երկխոսության հնարավոր նոր ուղիներն ուսումնասիրելուն։

Թեմատիկ բաժիններ՝

- պատմական, մշակութային և քաղաքական փոխառնչություններ,
- եկեղեցական և կրոնական հարաբերություններ,
- ժողովրդագրական տեղաշարժեր և պատմական ներկայություն,

- համագործակցություն միջազգային ակադեմիական առաջատար հրատարակիչների հետ, ինչպիսիք են՝ «Brill»-ը, «Routledge»-ը և «Peeters»-ը,

The Geghard Scientific-Analytical Foundation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, in academic collaboration with Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, announce the launch of the International Congress “Armeno-Georgica,” a biennial scholarly forum devoted to the comprehensive study of Armenian–Georgian historical and cultural interactions from Antiquity to the Modern period (early XIX century).

The Congress is conceived in the spirit of the classical Caucasological school, actively integrating contemporary methodological approaches, including comparative history, historical anthropology, memory studies, source studies, historiography and digital humanities.

The congress consists of the main academic conference, and also includes roundtables on contemporary topics, designed to explore potential avenues for cooperation and dialogue between the Armenian and Georgian intellectual communities.

Proposals for additional panels and thematic roundtables are welcome.

The Congress aims to establish a biennial international forum under the title “Armeno-Georgica”.

Planned outcomes include:

- Publication of a peer-reviewed edited volume of selected papers in the Scopus/WoS journals
- Launch of an English-language peer-reviewed electronic journal
- Strategic cooperation with leading international academic publishers such as Brill, Routledge, and Peeters
- Formation of an International Scientific Committee

ROUNDTABLES AND POLICY-ORIENTED DISCUSSIONS

Workshops and round-table discussions will also be held in an associated format within the framework of the Congress, dedicated to the improvement of the Armenian - Georgian relations and to the discussion of issues aimed at fostering their positive dynamics and development.
