📣 Երևանի պետական համալսարանի «Պատմության ազգային և գլոբալ չափումները․ հայոց փորձառությունը» հետազոտական խումբը հրավիրում է հումանիտար և սոցիալական գիտությունների մասնագետներին՝ մասնակցելու «Ինքնության ճգնաժամեր և նորացման ռազմավարություններ․գլոբալ և տեղական փորձառություններ (հելլենիզմից մինչև վաղ արդիականություն)» խորագրով գիտաժողովին, որը կկայանա 2027 թվականի փետրվարի 20-ին։

Գիտաժողովի նպատակն է ստեղծել միջգիտակարգային հարթակ՝ քննելու ինքնության ճգնաժամերի և դրանց հաղթահարման մեխանիզմները պատմական տարբեր անցումային փուլերում։ Մասնակիցներին առաջարկվում է վերլուծել, թե ինչպես են քաղաքական անկումները, մշակութային ճնշումներն ու սոցիալական վերափոխումներն ազդել էթնիկ, կրոնական և պետական ինքնագիտակցության վրա։ Քննարկման առանցքում կլինեն այն ռազմավարությունները, որոնցով հասարակություններն ու քաղաքակրթությունները ոչ միայն դիմակայել են գոյաբանական սպառնալիքներին, այլև մշակել են նորացման ու վերակազմավորման կենսունակ մոդելներ՝ ապահովելով պատմական հիշողության և արդիականության երկխոսությունը։

- Ի՞նչ ներքին և արտաքին գործոններ են պատմականորեն խթանել ինքնության ճգնաժամերը, և ինչպե՞ս են դրանք դրսևորվել տեղական ու գլոբալ հարթություններում։
- Ի՞նչ դեր են խաղացել պատմական հիշողությունը, կրոնական ավանդույթներն ու ծագման առասպելներն ինքնության վերակառուցման և պահպանման գործընթացներում։
- Ի՞նչ քաղաքական և իրավական մեխանիզմներ են կիրառվել պետականության պահպանման կամ ինքնության ամրապնդման համար՝ փոփոխվող աշխարհակարգերի պայմաններում։
- Ինչպիսի՞ն է ինքնության պահպանման փորձառությունը պետականության կորստի կամ բացակայության պայմաններում (հայկական և համաշխարհային զուգահեռներ)։
- Ինչպե՞ս են քաղաքական ու մտավոր վերնախավերը ձևակերպել ճգնաժամից դուրս գալու ուղիները և նպաստել ինքնության օրինավորմանը (լեգիտիմացմանը)։
- Ի՞նչ ռազմավարություններով է հնարավոր եղել համադրել ազգային ինքնության անխաթարությունն ու արդիականացման (նորացման) պահանջները։

📣 The Research Group “National and Global Dimensions of History: the Armenian Experience” at Yerevan State University invites submissions from scholars in the humanities and social sciences for the academic conference “Identity in Crisis and Strategies of Renewal: Global and Local Experiences (from Hellenism to Early Modernity)”, to be held on 20 February 2027.

🔹 About the Conference

The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for examining identity crises and the strategies developed to address them across different historical periods of transition. Contributors are invited to explore how political decline, cultural constraint, and social transformation have shaped ethnic, religious, and state identities.
Particular attention will be given to the ways in which societies and civilizations have responded to existential challenges not only through resistance, but also through processes of renewal and reconfiguration, highlighting historically grounded models of adaptation and the dynamic interaction between historical memory and processes of change.

🔹 The conference will be guided by the following questions:

- What internal and external factors have historically contributed to crises of identity, and how have these crises manifested themselves at local and global levels?
- What roles have historical memory, religious traditions, and myths of origin played in processes of identity reconstruction and preservation?
- What political and legal mechanisms have been employed to sustain statehood or to reinforce collective identity under changing international and global orders?
- How has identity been maintained in contexts of the loss or absence of statehood, including both the Armenian case and broader comparative perspectives?
- In what ways have political and intellectual elites articulated pathways out of crisis and contributed to the legitimation of identity?
- Through which strategies have societies sought to reconcile the integrity of national identity with the imperatives of modernization and renewal?
