Join us for a fun and rewarding morning helping to keep Farnborough Beach clean and healthy these school holidays. This is a relaxed, family-friendly event and a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet other locals, and make a real difference to our coastline.

📍 Meeting Point & Event Details

We will meet at Bangalee Beach access via Hinz Avenue, Farnborough.

🗓 Date: Tuesday 14th April
⏰ Time: 10:30am

Look for the Capricornia Catchments marquee and sign-in table near the beach access point. This is where we’ll register participants, provide a quick safety briefing, and organise groups.

From here, we will head north along the beach to Sandy Point, where the clean-up activities will take place.

🚗 Access & Parking

Please note that 4WD access is required to drive onto the beach and travel to Sandy Point.

🧤 What’s Provided

We’ll supply everything you need to participate safely, including:

Gloves
Bags/buckets for collecting litter
A short safety briefing and guidance

🎒 What to Bring

To stay comfortable, we recommend bringing:

Water bottle 💧
Hat and sun protection ☀️
Enclosed shoes (recommended) 👟
Comfortable clothing suitable for the beach
Insect repellent (optional)

🔥 BBQ After the Clean-Up

We’ll be putting on a BBQ after the clean-up, so stick around, relax, and enjoy a well-earned bite to eat with the community.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Important Information
Children are welcome but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times
Participants will work in small groups across the beach area
Please follow all safety instructions provided on the day
