Calling all budding actors, dancing kings & queens, divas and singers!
Come and sing-your-heart-out, dance the afternoon away and spend an action-packed day working with The Octagon Theatre to make an original mini play that you will create, stage and perform in just one day.
Participants will work together as a theatre company to stage the play, learning performance techniques as they go, to perform to family and friends at the end of the day.
Working with a musical director, choreographer and director participants will learn songs and routines all pieced together with a short script. We will work with the young participants and incorporate their ideas and experiences into the piece, therefore giving them the opportunity to explore their own creative ideas.
No prior experience is needed - just lots of enthusiasm. The workshop leaders will create a relaxed and supportive environment to have fun and build confidence.

Food is available to book in advance for £7 for the day, which includes a 'Make and Take' pack - a opportunity to do some cooking at home! Participants will receive a morning snack, hot meal, and dessert . Example menu options are, Beef and Vegetable Lasagna, Cheese & Tomato Pasta and Jacket Potato. Please book your hot food and let us know any dietary requirements in advance by 18/8/25. The food option will pop up during the booking process.
