-Brigadier General (Ret.) Pete Helmlinger, former Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Northwestern Division and a Washington State native who served at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.  
-Thurston County Commissioner Wayne Fournier.
-E. Wyatt Mendel, organizer and emcee.
-Two additional speakers honoring Sgt. Collins’ legacy

Coffee and treats provided

TJ’s Grillin' on-site for anyone wanting breakfast or lunch  

This mural is more than art – it’s a community promise to never forget. Whether you knew Sgt. Collins, served alongside him, or simply want to pay respect, all are welcome.  

Bring a chair if you'd like (limited seating) or just come as you are.  

No cost to attend. Open to the public.  Let’s fill Long Shot with gratitude and remembrance.
