The program includes four equally weighted components:
• Rate of Gain – from weigh-in to fair week
• Livestock Show Evaluation at the fair
• Record Book + Oral Presentation
• Total Carcass Value after processing

Who Can Participate
Youth enrolled in 4-H or FFA. Beginners are absolutely welcome.

Cost & Expectations
• Families provide the steer and daily care
• Feed and supply costs
• Transportation for weigh-in, fair, and processing
