Fluid Acrylics Workshop

This beginner-friendly Fluid Acrylics Workshop is open to participants ages 12 and up and is perfect for anyone curious about exploring colour, movement, and abstract painting. No prior art experience is needed.

In this playful, hands-on two-hour session, participants will learn basic acrylic pouring and flow techniques while experimenting with layering, tilting, and swirling paint. The focus is on creativity, exploration, and having fun with the process rather than aiming for “perfect” results.

Each participant will create and take home:

Three large canvas paintings

Three small pieces

One set of custom coasters

All materials are provided. This workshop is a great opportunity for teens and adults to create together, try something new, and leave with a collection of bold, one-of-a-kind artworks.

*Participants will need to pick up their work at the Makerspace at a later date once the pieces are dry.*
