Beginning in 2024, we partnered with researchers from the University of Manitoba to conduct a study reviewing the NWT’s trans health care guidelines. We interviewed both patients and providers to gather their feedback on the Guidelines, and, based on this feedback, develop recommendations for improving the Guidelines and improving access to gender-affirming health care in the NWT. We look forward to sharing the results of this review with you at the launch!
If you can’t attend in-person, we will also be live-streaming the event so that you can attend online, and the full report will be available online after the launch.
November 13th is also the start of 🏳️‍⚧️ Trans Awareness Week 🏳️‍⚧️ which happens during the week leading up to Trans Day of Remembrance on November 20th. Check out our November program schedule to see the event we have planned for Trans Awareness Week and Trans Day of Remembrance.
