Learn how to make your clothes fit just right! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll pick one of three beginner-friendly alteration projects to complete:

Shorten hems on pants, jeans, dresses, skirts, or cuffless sleeves
Take in shirts or simple dresses for a better fit
Take in pants or skirts using a quick and easy method (jeans not recommended)

Our instructors will walk you through each step, from measuring and pinning to sewing and finishing, using domestic sewing machines and simple tools available at Makerspace YK. Perfect for those new to sewing or anyone wanting to refresh their skills.
