Each class will introduce tools and techniques to include hammering, soldering, and riveting, as well as ways to shape and texture metal. Class projects include a hammered cuff, fold-formed leaves and simple soldered rings as well as samples to inspire individual creativity and ways to customize projects. This series will also include important information on tool & equipment safety. A class overview can be emailed upon request.Fee does not include materials. The estimated $35* materials supply kit can be purchased directly from the instructor. The required kit includes brass and copper in various sizes of wire and sheet, one piece of sterling silver for a ring and some other materials to experiment with.*NOTE: This is an approximate cost and actual kit cost may be different due to the metals market fluctuation in 2026.Optional: A selection of sterling silver wire and ready-made bezels and stones is available for additional purchase from the instructor (not required for class projects).Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks.
