Make Your Own Story Garden!

Join Art At Work and Creative Arts East at your local library for a magical make-and-do adventure! In this workshop, you’ll build your very own mini 3D story garden using paper, card, magazines, moss, dried plants and other natural materials to create a tiny world inside a box for a character of your choice.

Will your character live in a jungle full of wild creatures? A mysterious underwater world? Or perhaps a secret enchanted forest? You decide! Your tiny hero could be based on a character from your favourite book or maybe someone brand new, straight from your imagination.

This fun hands-on craft workshop is suitable for ages 6 and up (you’ll need to have some scissor skills).

All materials, including the boxes, are provided.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to lend a hand if your child might need support, but do not need to book their own place.
