Choose a beach stone or piece of sea glass and create a sterling silver claw setting designed specifically around its wonderfully imperfect shape.Fabricate, solder, texture, finish, and set your found object by hand, transforming an ordinary little piece of landscape into a one-of-a-kind wearable pendant. Found. Held. Worn. No experience needed.Workshop cost does not include materials. Metalsmithing is surprisingly hungry work.For safety, students must wear closed-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for working in a metals studio. Long hair must be able to be pulled back and secured.
