VFW Post #6393 Yardley provides winter shelter for laughter and Funny Farm Yardley. Comedians Gene Norris (USO Tours), John Kurschner (NY Comedy Festival) and Dana Charitonchick (Helium, Punch Line) join locally grown host Bronston Jones (CMT, Amazon, Pennsbury Ice Hockey [JV]) to harvest the Yucks in Bucks County.*

Broad Street Brewery to serve delicious drinks when doors open at 6pm. Age 21+.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS*:

GENE NORRIS is a comedian/actor from Philadelphia who is natural to the stage. He appeared in several plays and short films as the comic relief. He brings dynamic energy to the stage and believes that laughter is contagious, so pass it on. Gene has performed for our troups in several USO shows. He has performed for several charity groups such as Mothers in Charge, Linda Creed Breast Cancer Awareness, National AIDS Awareness Foundation and numerous private fundraisers.

JOHN KURSCHNER is a stand-up comic; born and raised in Staten Island, NY. Starting his stand-up career in 2007, John has performed at Gotham, Stress Factory, Punchline Phi and Levity Live to name a few. John is the producer for the SINY leg of The NY Comedy Festival. On Stage, Kursh details his unique family life as well as covering current topics with his own twist. He Co-hosts “That’s My Time Podcast” with Mike Sicoli. Kursh has appeared on Amazon Prime’s “Comics Watching Comics,” and the award winning independent film “Midlife.” His 1/2 hour YouTube special “Baby John” was released in 2024.

DANA CHARITONCHICK is a comedian in the Philadelphia area that got her start performing outdoors in the suburbs. Since her start, Dana has performed at various clubs around the US such as The Punch Line San Francisco and Cobb’s Comedy Club. BRONSTON JONES (host) grew up in Yardley Borough... Since then he's performed stand-up from coast-to-coast and across-the-pond. He was resident host of Venice Underground Comedy, LA’s biggest independent weekly show for a decade. Bronston has done seven separate Edinburgh Fringe Festival solo hours in Scotland. Do people find him funny? Some critics loved him. Some hated him. LA Weekly called him “certifiably unique,” which could go either way. You probably missed him on CMT, WEtv and TruTV, and shouldn’t watch or listen to his special “She Has to Take this Call” on Amazon. He apologizes if you do.
