- **Event Description**: Yakima Valley College’s Diversity Series, in partnership with Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of Washington, will host a Black History Luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Kaminski Conference Center on YVC’s Yakima Campus (1704 W. Nob Hill Blvd., Building 38).

The event features speakers from YVC, OIC and local community leaders, along with resource tables and historical artifacts celebrating key moments in Black history. Attendees will also experience The True Black History Museum, a national traveling exhibit showcasing more than 1,000 artifacts dating from the late 1700s to the present.

The luncheon concludes with a keynote address by Fred Saffold, a nationally recognized presenter on Black history and racial justice and director of the True Black History Museum.

Doors open: 11:30 a.m.
Program begins: 12 p.m.
Location: Kaminski Conference Center, Building 38, YVC Yakima Campus
