- **Event Description**: The America’s 250th Yakima Parade will begin at 7 PM on Yakima Avenue. The route starts at 6th Avenue and continues east on Yakima Avenue to Naches Avenue in front of the YMCA.

Local businesses, nonprofit organizations, community groups, and individuals are invited to participate at no cost the parade launches a holiday weekend of local events Marking the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence. 

July 3 is also first Friday in downtown Yakima, and many restaurants, breweries, and tasting rooms will offer specials for people who arrive early for the parade.

There is no cost to participate in the parade, which will begin lining up at 5 PM. To register to participate in the parade visit www.Yakimaparades.com

The parade committee is raising $15,000 to help cover additional security costs from the Yakima Police Department and Public Works. The committee invites, local businesses and residence to support the event through donations or sponsorships through the Yakima Valley Community Foundation. Wear your red, white, and blue and enjoy this once in a lifetime celebration.
