There will be no better way to say goodbye to the Hiking season than by watching the sunset from the MontgóAbout this EventDETAILSIt's that time again! Join us for the final hike of our season, and we're excited to continue our tradition of watching the sunset from the breathtaking Cima Montgó - one of the most stunning locations on the Costa Blanca.Make sure to bring your own Snacks and drinks to enjoy at the summit, where we'll have plenty of time to relax, eat, and enjoy the sunset on this special day.The sun will set at approximately 21:29, and we'll have around 25 minutes before dusk ends. So we'll need to leave promptly as we make our way back down the small scramble section. After the scramble, it's plain sailing along the clearly defined mountain path back to the cars. The paths are typical mountain paths for the region made up of a mixture of hard rock and loose scree. There is a 500m section of grade 1 scramble that increases elevation by around 140m, and in some places requires a head for heightsOnce at the top we will enjoy a 360 view over Javea, Denia, and the surrounding area, I also explain the story of the Javea missing cross.With all summit hikes, this hike is subject to the weather on the day and in particular for the Montgó the direction of the windIf you have any questions please feel free to message us Spaces as always will be limited so get in there first!STATSIntermediate Hiking Tour.Good fitness is required.
