Knitting: Potato Chip Scarf
Winter is here; this simple ruffle scarf will be a welcome addition to your winter gear! This project is easy to knit, and it also makes a very pretty gift. The potato chip ruffle scarf is a good project for people with some experience knitting (you should know how to do a knit stich, before class) but the teacher will walk you through the rest! Though we will not finish the scarf during class, you will go home with the knowledge on how to complete this scarf.
Skills needed: Know how to do the Knit stitch (yes you don’t need to know how to purl for this scarf!!) Students should also bring their own materials to class (see materials list below)

Materials needed:
Worsted weight yarn (also known as Medium weight or #4, this can be found on the ball band of the yarn) You will need about 5oz, but more will allow you to make a longer scarf if you wish. Light colors are easier to work with, but pick a color you like!!
Needles size 8, 9, 10 or 11.
Scissors
Darning needle
Stitch markers (optional)
