Chris Cavill & Tom Harrington Announce Co-Headline Tour
This January, acclaimed indie-folk singer-songwriters Chris Cavill and Tom Harrington will join forces for the first time on a special co-headline tour across Tasmania. Spanning seven shows and weaving its way right around the island — from the North West, down through the heart of the state, across the South, and up and over to the East Coast — the tour brings together two of Australia’s most heartfelt storytellers for an unforgettable summer run.
For Melbourne-based artist Chris Cavill, Tasmania has become like a second home. Since 2022, he has toured the island state four times, including appearances at Cygnet Folk Festival (2024) and Good Gumnuts (2025). Known for his evocative songwriting, soaring vocals, and unique on-stage chemistry with his sons, Chris’s performances are as deeply personal as they are universally moving — blending raw, soul-stirring storytelling with moments of uplifting energy and joy.
Tom Harrington has also built a strong connection with Tasmanian audiences through past performances, adding this co-headline run to an impressive touring resume that has seen him support Boy & Bear, Ziggy Alberts, Kim Churchill, and The Dreggs. An award-winning folk artist, Tom’s dynamic live set — from a cappella vocal loops that burst into singalongs, to unconventional guitar techniques and heartfelt storytelling — has seen him win over crowds at major festivals including Byron Bay Bluesfest (2024) and Gympie Muster (2023, 2024).
Together, Chris and Tom embody the spirit of modern indie-folk: grounded in storytelling, shaped by years of touring, and connected by their ability to create moments of intimacy and joy on stage.
