Dan has crunched the numbers, checked the tide charts, and officially traded the forest dirt for some glorious Moreton Bay ocean breeze. On Saturday, October 31st, we are invading the bay! We’re swapping trail runners for coastal kicks, conquering a stunning shoreline trek from Greene Park to Norfolk Point, and finishing at a legendary local spot for food and drinks—and we’re kicking the whole thing off with a crucial coffee pitstop right at the start. This isn’t just a stroll; it’s a tactical mission to dominate the bayfront paths, breathe in that salty sea air, and descend upon a den of well-earned feeds and oceanfront views.🧭 MISSION CONTROL: THE SATURDAY DEBRIEFDan has a very strict relationship with the space-time continuum. We'll have time for a quick swim to cool off along the way before heading back. The Final Return: We’ll march our way back along the water, returning by 3:00 PM before we pivot to a nearby spot for the ultimate post-hike reward.🍔 THE DESTINATION: POST-WALK FEEDSWe aren't finishing the day empty-handed. After crushing our coastal trek, we’re heading to a hand-picked nearby spot to refuel. Imagine ice-cold drinks, epic pub-style feeds or seafood classics, and a buzzing Saturday vibe. This WILL happen but may take some time. The foundation for these will be the age old art of WALKING! Such a great way to bring people together and we'll explore gorgeous places and other social activities from there. Nothing like a great chat with like-minded people and finishing with a drink together at a cafe or pub. This is all about the community - You Matter!!" } ] } ] ```
