Join us as we welcome the holiday season in Wyandotte! Visitors are invited to gather at the corner of Sycamore and Biddle, where jingle bells will be handed out to ring along with the choir. Festive decorations set the scene, while live reindeer and a children’s entertainer add to the holiday cheer with balloon creations for youngsters.
The Mayor, City Council members, and honored guests will invite a group of children to the stage to help “flip the switch” and light the great, gleaming Christmas tree. When the ceremony concludes, guests are encouraged to stroll through downtown Wyandotte to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and holiday spirit.

In conjunction with the introduction of the City’s new Mobile Food Ordinance, a Food Truck and Vendor Festival will take place alongside the parade festivities. This event supports the Wyandotte Fire Department in conducting inspections of vendors who may participate in community events or operate on city property.
The festival will feature a wide selection of food trucks and local vendors, offering plenty of great options before, during, and after the parade. This effort not only enhances the parade experience but also promotes public safety by encouraging the use of approved and inspected vendors.
