Dog Soup wurde 2023 in Köln gegründet und versteht sich als kollektives „Meta-Instrument“. 

Die vier Musiker*innen – Ben Jones (Saxofon), Philipp Hayduk (Posaune), Anna Größbrink (Kontrabass) und Marius Lamm (Schlagzeug) – entwickeln ihr Repertoire gemeinsam aus Komposition, grafischer Notation und freier Improvisation. So entsteht ein organischer, hochreaktiver Klangkörper mit langen Spannungsbögen, dichten Texturen und theatralischen Zuspitzungen. Ihre Musik bewegt sich zwischen zeitgenössischem Jazz, Neuer Musik und Performance. 2024 war Dog Soup u. a. bei der Cologne Jazzweek und beim WDR Campus Jazz zu hören.
