Zespół zyskał międzynarodowe uznanie dzięki europejskiej trasie koncertowej w 2022 roku, podczas której wystąpił w 11 krajach, dając 20 koncertów jazzowych. Artyści zostali również wybrani jako „Indonesian Youngsters” do prestiżowego projektu NusantEro Big Band – międzynarodowej współpracy muzyków z Europy i Indonezji, wspieranej przez Delegację Unii Europejskiej. Muzycznym dyrektorem tego projektu była Nita Aartsen, współzałożycielka NusantEro i jedna z czołowych postaci współczesnej sceny jazzowej w Azji Południowo-Wschodniej.

Zespół stale rozwija swoje brzmienie i repertuar, wnosząc nową energię na scenę młodego jazzu azjatyckiego i światowego.

Borderline is a young jazz band from Indonesia, formed by four musicians aged 20–25. Their fresh sound blends original compositions with influences from Indonesian culture, modern jazz, and fusion.

They gained international attention with a 2022 European tour, performing 20 concerts in 11 countries, and were featured as “Indonesian Youngsters” in the EU-supported NusantEro Big Band project, directed by pianist Nita Aartsen, a leading figure of Southeast Asian jazz.
