The swim is located in Banks Channel, a tidal river, and can take a little getting used to. Calm your nerves, learn some tips and tricks for the swim course, and meet your fellow athletes! Park in public parking on Waynick Blvd near Blockade Runner (please do not park in the hotel parking lot). We'll meet at the beach adjacent to Blockade Runner on the channel side ? We will swim between 500 to 1000 yards along the docks of Wrightsville. Easy access to get out anytime during the swim.  We are asking a suggested donation of $15 cash/venmo.
