🥾 The Hike
This intermediate hike takes us along scenic canal paths and across two of the UK’s most impressive aqueducts, with beautiful views throughout.
Distance: 17.5km
Elevation: 319m
Duration: Approximately 5 hours (including breaks)
🚆 Public Transport
Direct train from Birmingham New Street at 9:22 AM, arriving into Chirk at 10:50 AM.
🚗 Parking
Free all-day parking is available at Chirk Town Car Park, around 5 minutes from the station. Pay and display parking is also available at the station.

This is an intermediate hike with a longer distance than our usual walks. Please ensure you feel comfortable walking for several hours and come prepared for a full day outdoors.
