Pen-y-Lan Hall in Wales is a historic manor house and is believed to date back to around 1690, built by Henry Lloyd, Founder of Lloyds Bank. It was significantly remodelled in 1830 to create a Regency Gothic style. Its was later expanded, though many of these additions were later demolished. The hall was then acquired by Thomas Hardcastle in 1854 and subsequently purchased by the Ormrod family in 1889.
