Join us for a festive night of fun, friends, and holiday cheer. Come kick up your heels, enjoy some great company, and soak in the holly jolly vibes. Whether you’re here to dance, listen to the music, mingle, or just celebrate the season, this social is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. Don’t miss out on the merriment — bring the husband, the wife, your partner, kids and grandkids***, the more the merrier — we can’t wait to see you there!

This is an open event and is open to other individuals, dancers and dance groups, as well as to the K's Kicks dancers and their families and friends. As K's Kicks classes are beginner level classes the majority of the songs and dances on the night will be beginner friendly, although we will have some improver level dances too. Feel free to send requests through for your favourite beginner and improver level dances in advance.

At our Christmas social we will have local live act Gary Taff joining us, as well as some social dancing, a beginners teach session, charity bingo and raffle, and more!

FOOD: Food will be available to purchase from The Chippy Express on the night - please let us know if anyone in your booking is Vegetarian or Gluten Free* so they can make sure they bring enough of those options on the night.

DRINKS: Water will be provided for those wanting water and both alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the bar. Please support the venue by not bringing your own drinks with you**. The venue has the right to ask anyone doing so to leave and no refunds will be provided.

We will also have 3 Donation Stations available:

1. Warm clothes, blankets & sleeping bags: these items will be donated to a homeless charity to help keep as many homeless people warm this winter.

2. Dried, tinned & other non-perishable food items: these items will be donated to the Foodbank to support people struggling. Other items such as sanitary products and basic hygiene items can also be donated.

3. Preloved & new toys and gifts: these items will be donated to North Wales Superkids to support families who are struggling to be able to provide gifts to their children this Christmas.

CHARITY BINGO & RAFFLE: These will be prize sessions, allowing any children attending to also be able to take part. The proceeds from both of these activities will be split between our nominated class charities equally, then get added to the money raised separately from our weekly class raffles ready for donating to the charities. Our nominated charities are Nightingale House Hospice (nominated by the Rossett class), Myeloma UK (nominated by the Chirk class) and Canolfan Ceiriog Centre (nominated by our Glyn Ceiriog class). * While The Chippy Express does its best to avoid cross contamination, in such a space as they are contained in they cannot guarantee 100% that all non-GF foods will not have been exposed to gluten.

** This does not apply to baby food or drinks for babies and toddlers. If you need access to bottle/food warming facilities on the night please let us know in advance so we can look into this.

*** While overall the event is family-friendly, please note that not all music content may necessarily be deemed 'PG' or kid-friendly; country music by its nature often contains themes of sex, alcohol, drugs and other dark themes and some may be deemed as being more 'explicit'. We have found that this does not generally bother most line dancing families but like this to be noted upfront.
