Join us on the historic Maes Offa field, nestled along Offa’s Dyke with sweeping views across the Welsh hills, for a relaxed and inspiring morning of heritage willow weaving.
In this two-hour hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create a tall, elegant sweet pea frame using beautiful Flanders Red willow. These frames are both practical and sculptural — perfect for sweet peas, beans or any climbing plants in your garden.
No previous experience is needed.
Just bring your hands and a willingness to learn.

A gentle introduction to traditional willow techniques
Step-by-step guidance in forming a tall, strong climbing frame

By the end of the session, you’ll take home your own handcrafted willow frame — ready to support this season’s climbers.
The workshop takes place under a marquee tent on the beautiful Maes Offa community field in Llanfynydd — a historic landscape with panoramic views across the Welsh hills.
Village roadside parking is available nearby.
