Gwilym has been singing in his native Welsh language since he can remember, giving him a deep connection with the traditional songs and music of his native land.Performing as a trio with Patrick Rimes on fiddle (Calan, VRi, ALAW) and Gwen Mairi on harp, Gwilym’s songs are presented in an intimate, carefully balanced setting. The arrangements are restrained and attentive, but also powerful and energetic, drawing from the rich Welsh folk tradition whilst remaining contemporary.Elin a CarysElin and Carys are sisters and their close, ethereal harmonies and arrangements of folk songs and original songs draw on their musical upbringing and the landscapes of Mid Wales.
