We will be able to tour the factory and show rooms, guided by founder and MD Phil Jackson and have drinks and nibbles after. During the tour we will also see the design and ‘planning to delivery’ tool based on AI used by the firm to shorten and fulfil order and delivery times.Outerspace won a prestigious Green Expo ‘Innovation in the Built Environment’ award in 2023; Judges said:“When they couldn’t find what they wanted themselves Outerspace Group set about constructing industry leading panels with high R-values. Outerspace Group developed eco-friendly buildings and sustainable living spaces using these cutting-edge structural insulated panels and modular methods of construction (MMC). The company is reducing typical build time by a half, labour costs, and 90% less waste on-site, while offering clients a far greener and more sustainable building.”The factory tour will offer an opportunity to see how far SIP technology and MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) have developed and how this can be integrated into existing architecture practices.Tickets will cost £5, which is directly payable to the CSA (payment instructions will be sent to you after you have booked your ticket). This will cover refreshments and go towards our Hardship Fund where we support students and those on lower incomes, allowing them to access our events.
