If you were in Sydney throughout the Noughties, it was impossible to escape the allure of Deadwood 76, the kings of Newtown’s Botany View Hotel. They were the best of times and well, the best of times! Sadly, they called it a day in the later part of the decade and have reformed only a handful of times since.

These will be their first shows in 8 years and possibly your last chance to see them ever.

To celebrate, they've put together a massive day/nighter at the Link & Pin that includes Adam Young & the Down Main, Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes, The Tall Stories, Maids of Horror and T.C. Jones.

Adam Young & the Down Main are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the critically acclaimed album, Elementary Carnival Blues. Adam is a fromer member of The Daisygrinders and Big Heavy Stuff and has had his songs covered by the likes of You Am I and The Lemonheads.

Dave Favours & the Roadside Ashes are in their 10th year as a band and currently touring in support of their latest album, Service Station Chicken. The record is easily the most realised in the band’s career and is the perfect showcase for their unique blend of Oz indie rock meets twangy alternative country.

The Tall Stores are one of Newcastle's finest, and combine dark Americana with garage rock and a splash of psychedelia. Their live shows are not to be missed.

Fellow Novacastrians, Maids of Horror recently relesed their debut album, Evil Eyes Poison Heart. These gothic garage punk cowgirls (and cowboy) have been descrbed as cowpoke rock.

T.C. Jones’ story sounds like a finely crafted novel – a folk singer from Denman in regional NSW who does shift work in the local mines and in his spare time writes songs with such passion and honesty that can only come from the isolation of living in a small country town.

It all kicks off at 3pm and entry is free.
