Join us at The Daily Apple for a community service event supporting Pink Box Purpose - a grassroots initiative bringing menstrual hygiene education and supplies to women and girls around the mountains and cities of Honduras.
We’ll spend the evening cutting fabric pieces that will be sewn into reusable menstrual pads. These pads will be distributed alongside education, supplies, and support through the Pink Box foundation.

Pink Box Purpose was started by women in Durand, Wisconsin who went on a mission trip to Honduras and found the need for women's health education. Women, young girls actually, are dropping out of school due to their periods since there is a lack of menstrual hygiene and support. These women are often sold into the sex trade and human trafficking industry. By spreading education and materials to these communities, you are contributing to a much greater solution. It's bigger than cutting pads! Let's do our part and support this amazing cause.
