Sussex Trauma Informed ICS in person event

This event is set to launch the Sussex framework, a document bringing together the knowledge and understanding from national and international drivers, notably, NHS Education for Scotland and Surrey and Borders Framework. We have gathered information and feedback from partners in our community of practice and training, to build the Sussex framework.

Through case studies and programme achievements we want to further develop our next steps and future focus. Our aim is to get senior leaders to recognise the importance of Trauma Informed Practice and seek further support from system.

We will be learning from system partners including Brighton & Hove and West Sussex County Councils, Sussex Partnership Trust and East Sussex Hospital Trust.

We will round the morning off with next steps, a reflections panel and a plenary from Helen Davies, Clinical Director - Urgent Care NHS Sussex.
