- **Event Description**: We are proud to announce Portland Road Party as part of the Worthing Fringe Festival. Organised & curated by percussionist Sean Quinn of Drumheads Samba Band, this will be a day of live music, community and all round good vibes in Portland Road, the soul of Worthing town centre!

We've completely closed the road off for the day to show off our little corner of Worthing & highlight the great businesses we have in this lovely pedestrianised square...

We'll kick things off at lunchtime with Portland Road resident & super successful Graffiti artist Aroe pairing up with DJ Glenn Fallows (Mr Bongo) to play vinyl records before & in between the day's live music.

These live performers start at 2.30pm with Louie Le Vack opening proceedings with some laid back Jazzy Hip-Hop.

At approximately 4.30pm we are joined by the Samba Band & Gospel Choir Fringe Procession. Drumheads & Spring into Soul start their journey at 2pm from Coast Cafe, passing the Pavilion Steps, Montague Place & Audioactive before marching up Portland Road to really get our party started!

Next up at around 5pm we have some footstompin' Alt Blues & Country from the awesome My Heathen Family followed by the luscious Brazilian beach music of Samba Roda Viva at 6.30pm.

The icing on the Portland Road Party cake are Pollito Boogaloo at 8pm. Their cocktail of Cumbia, Salsa & Latin Electro will close the outdoor live music in style... before we head indoors for DJs from 9pm.

DJs Rob & Freya play a mix of World Music & Disco at Spun & the after dark festivities continue well into the night with DJs at The Libertine Social & Manuka.
