When: 10am Saturday 7th February – 10am Sunday 8th February 2026.
Where: Broadwater Baptist Church Hall. Dominion Road, Worthing, BN14 8JL.
What is it? 24hrs of board gaming fun! You are welcome to come and join us for the full 24hrs, or just a little while. It’ll be great to have you with us. Some of us will be there for the duration, and we will have games being played the whole 24hrs!
What is it for? We are raising money for the Broadwater Support Group & Community Hub. They do amazing work to support people in need in the local area. They also provide us with a venue for our Thursday night Board Game sessions. For more details about the fab stuff they do, check out:

Who is it for? Any and all adults who want to play board games! Worthing Boardgamers is a community space for adults to socialise and play board games. If you want to bring kids please do, but we are not a kids club and do not have any related safeguards in place. So kids remain their adult’s responsibility. Please note that generally games played have recommended min age of 8+ and many are 14+.
What if I haven’t been before / don’t really know anything about boardgames? You are more than welcome to join us - we’ve all been in your shoes before! This is a great opportunity to come and find out more about Worthing Boardgamers, who we are and what we do. There will always be a game for you to join in, so come along and have some fun!
What kinds of games will be played? A whole mix of things! Quick card games, silly party games, social deduction (think Traitors!) all the way through to more traditional board games and long strategy games. All these types of games will be played throughout the event, so there should be something to take your fancy!
How much does it cost to attend? Entry is free, but we have a suggested minimum donation of £5.
We are trying to raise as much money as we possibly can. So we will ask that people give generously. There will be minimum suggested donations - you are not obligated to give that amount, but if you wish to give that or more, it will be gratefully received!
How can I pay? You will be able to donate using cash, card or bank transfer (we gratefully accept it all!)

What’s On…
Open Gaming: There will be plenty of table space for you to come and play boardgames! Bring your games and play them with friends and /or invite other people to join you. Or just turn up and join in playing other people’s games (there will be plenty to chose from!)
Sign up: There will be a number of planned games that you can sign up for on the day. Things like Blood on the Clocktower, Mafia, 2 Rooms and a Boom, Mothership and more…
Demos: We have some amazing local boardgame designers who will be demoing their games. Come and try them out!
Bring and buy: Bring your old games, sell them for cash and buy some new ones! We just ask that you make a donation if you sell anything.
Bake sale: There will be a bake sale on the day to raise money. We are going to need sustenance to keep us gaming! Please bring along any donations of cake or other delicious baked goods to sell.

Practical stuff…
Venue: We are extremely grateful that Broadwater Baptist Church have kindly gifted us the use of their facilities for free. Please help us to look after the venue during the event.
Please be mindful that the event is happening in a Church Hall, so we don’t know how hot / cold it will be. Please dress accordingly (layers are advised!)
Dogs: Service dogs are welcome, but other furry friends will need to stay cozy at home 🏡
Accessibility: The whole venue is accessible, including an accessible toilet.
Parking: There is a car park behind the church, or local on street parking is available. There is disabled parking in the car park. Please be considerate of the neighbours when parking. Please do not park in front of the church (unless required for accessibility needs.)
Food / Refreshments: There will be tea, coffee and squash available for a donation. A basic continental breakfast will be available for a donation on Sunday morning. There will also be a bake sale as detailed above.
You are free to bring your own food / drink. Please note that no alcohol is allowed on the premises.
