The Crocodile River Music Family Concert takes place in the JMAC’s BrickBox Theater 1-2pm. In the JMAC lobby, MaliFest will also offer an African Marketplace from 11am - 2:30pm, featuring West African artists and vendors selling handmade art and goods, textiles, jewelry, and more.
While MaliFest and Crocodile River Music programming ends at 2:30pm, attendees can also explore the “No Evil Project: 15 Years of Art & Conversations” reception, at the JMAC from 2-6pm. Created by photographer Troy B. Thompson, our friend who has captured the magic of many CRM performances over the years, the No Evil Project features over 11,000 people sharing personal stories, highlighting the good we share despite our perceived differences. This reception includes interactive components and a panel discussion featuring a diverse cross-section of local voices, including Crocodile River Music’s own Jean-Sebastien Duvilaire.
