Die Nasionale Instituut vir Dowes (NID) is trots om sy derde gratis Gesondheidsdag vir Dowes aan te bied op Saterdag, 12 September 2026, by die Hamilton-saal, NID-kampus.

Hierdie spesiale dag fokus op doof-toeganklike gesondheidsinligting, gedeelde leer en om beheer oor jou eie welstand te neem in ’n ruimte wat deur en vir die Dowe gemeenskap geskep is. Deur doof-vriendelike kommunikasie en inklusiewe betrokkenheid sal deelnemers praktiese kennis en hulpmiddels verkry om hul algehele gesondheid te ondersteun.

Die Gesondheidsdag sal verskeie gesondheids-onderwerpe dek, met pouses en middagete ingesluit. 

Die doel is om Dowes te bemagtig met inligting, selfvertroue en toegang tot gesondheidshulpbronne wat ’n gesonder toekoms ondersteun.
