Composting for Beginners: Turn Scraps into Soil
Curious about composting but not sure where to start? This class is an intro into the basics of composting, especially for beginners. It will cover how to start a compost pile yourself, what to add to it and how often. We will look at the stages of a healthy compost pile (I have small boxes containing some compost in different stages of decomposition) and ways to avoid and handle problems that can arise in the process.
