Join the Black Heritage Committee for the 6th Annual raising of the Juneteenth Flag at the YWCA of Central MA. We will reflect on Juneteenth's meaning and significance in the times we are living in - 161 years after the reading of General Order No. 3 that declared enslaved people in Galveston, TX were "free," and should have been two and a half years prior.
After the raising of the flag, we will have a short reception with light refreshments in The Board Room of the YWCA. All with good intentions are welcome to join!
