We need our allies more than ever.
Any LGBTQ+ Group or Organizer(s), allies/ally groups, especially students/youth, please feel free to reach out to help vamp up these dates and this movement!

As more anti-LGBTQ+ bills continue to be introduced and passed. Especially targeting the Trans community and marriage equality. These bills will ultimately lead to the direct genocide of Trans people. These legislations will have an immense impact on the lives of LGBTQ+, specifically Trans, and will inevitably impact the rest of you. We have already been seeing this.

OHIO currently has 11 anti-trans bills circulating. KANSAS has revoked the license of ALL Trans residents. TENNESSEE is moving a bill that will place Trans people on a PUBLIC REGISTRY. There are sweeping Bathroom Bans across the nation. Drag and Freedom of Expression bans (which will threaten Pride, other events, what we wear, rallies, and even theater). Constant removal of Rainbow Crosswalks and bans on Pride Flag display. The removal of Historical Monuments and Memorials. We have an alarming rate of Trans being assaulted and harassed in prisons and in ICE detention centers. In which ICE may become a threat to us publicly.

Even more important is our Trans and LGBTQ+ Youth! 40% of the homeless youth population despite representing only about 7-10% of the general youth population. They are over 120% more likely to experience homelessness than their non-LGBTQ+ peers. Help us protect them!

As of mid-March 2026, there are 740 anti-trans bills under consideration in 42 states, according to the Trans Legislation Tracker. This follows a record-breaking 2025, where 1,059 anti-LGBTQ+ bills were filed, over 850 of which targeted transgender people.

Common Types of Anti-Trans Legislation: Bathroom Bans, Education, Healthcare, and "Sex Definition." The highest number of bills is currently appearing in Oklahoma (56), Missouri (52), and South Carolina (44).
