Get your child out of the house and onto the stage this April vacation week! At the Stadium’s Spring Stage theatre program, students will step into the spotlight singing songs and performing choreographed scenes. Under the direction of experienced musical theatre instructors, Spring Stage performers will learn about vocal pitch, timing, and rhythm, while boosting self-confidence and encouraging team-building skills.

Ages 6-8: How Does Your Garden Groove?
Freddy and Franny Farmer's garden vegetables are movin' and groovin' in this charming and imaginative mini-musical for primary-age students. This is not your typical garden-variety musical as the french fried potatoes have “appeal,” leafy vegetables sing “Lettuce Entertain You” and the corn and peas beg “Please Don't Put Us in a Can-Can!” These lively veggies will sing and dance their way into everyone's hearts!
Ages 9-13: Johnny Appleseed
Johnny Appleseed, one of American folklore's most colorful characters, comes to life in this lively, six song mini-musical. Johnny's extraordinary life and love for all living things is told as a modern-day Grandpa reads a bedtime story to his grandchildren. The action moves from present to past and the audience learns of Johnny's boyhood dream to cross the wilderness and then follow him as he plants apple seeds throughout the land.
