𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏: 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒓, 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 ໑ An immersive installation event: absorb your surroundings through sketching, seeing + listening ᯽ focusing on the ethereal forest floor; a buzzing and complex ecosystem rich in life and stimulus.
At our pop-up event, you can enjoy creating artwork in a divinely aesthetic space infused with an organic installation and the tradition of still-life arrangements. The event will be held at Echo & Bounce in Woolloongabba, facilitated by Studio Maverik, and with a special floral arrangement by with love, from elo + rainforest soundscape by Greaves. Here's a taste of what you can anticipate:
⬧ A lightly guided drawing session where you can create a series of still-life sketches inspired by the space around you ~ a meditative and gentle social experience for all to enjoy at any level of creative expertise.
⬧ Delicious refreshments available at the E&B cafe to savour before, after or throughout the session; coffee + treats.
⬧ A one-off experience that you can share with friends, lovers or a thoughtful solo date to revel in the social spark of the festive season.
Additional Event Details
‣ Drawing materials are supplied, such as paper, drawing boards, pencils and markers. You are welcome to bring any additional materials that you wish to use.
‣ Held in the upstairs studio space at Echo & Bounce, up the stairs in the courtyard.
‣ Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in. Class is suitable for ages 16+.

ABOUT STUDIO MAVERIK
Studio Maverik is a community-focused and inclusive art studio in Magandjin Brisbane. We facilitate pop-up life drawing classes and other creatively focused events. All people are welcome and encouraged to attend our events. Come to chat, draw and learn in a vibrant and welcoming space. Studio Maverik is run by two local artists, Frances & Rhianna. We believe that art is for all, and it brings us together.
ABOUT THE VENUE
Echo & Bounce is a community music arts project spread across 5 spaces in the carpark paradise of Woolloongabba, Meanjin/Brisbane. It’s a third space ~ a record store, cafe and multimodal events space; ripe for wholesome emerging and experimental communal activities. It’s home to a broad spectrum of shared experiences across music, art, food, solidarity, and every shade between.
PARKING
Plenty of parking available on Stanley Street and the surrounding streets. We are also located super close by to train & bus stations.
ACCESSIBILITY
Unfortunately, the studio level of the venue is not wheelchair accessible. Cancellation policy
We have a strict cancellation policy that requires you to request a refund more than 3 days before an event. You can request a refund via your Eventbrite appointment email (manage order > request refund). We cannot swap your ticket for another date.

If you choose to work with wet mediums such as ink or paint we require you to come prepared with a floor cover, cleaning materials (such as a rag) and to take responsibility to prevent spillage/clean up any mess. Thank you for your understanding.
